Comfort Inn Jamestown South

Traveling across country has always been a bit of a crap-shoot for me as far as finding a good night's sleep. The Comfort Inn in Jamestown ND turned out to be a welcome rest. PK and the other staff were friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The room has standard appointments including; fridge, microwave, tv with a decent cable line-up, hair dryer, and a singular cup coffee maker. But the star of the stay was the bed. A queen sized pillow top that allowed for a great night's sleep. I don't normally sleep longer than 5 hours, I got 8 hours here... this sets me up for a good drive today. Bonus: best hotel coffee I've ever had. I will be filling my mug before I leave. Such a welcome find!!!

PK was great And super friendly early in the morning! Plus he's cute so that was nice too. Rooms are great and the breakfast was delightful

->Grab bar in shower broken; fastest internet I've ever seen<- PROS: We got stranded in Jamestown with car trouble that would take a day to get fixed, so we came to this hotel super early (11am) to ask about booking a room (fully expecting no check in until the afternoon) but they actually gave us a room right away which was super-appreciated. I did an internet speed test and - could this be right? 315.9 mbps download/71.4 mpbs upload? That's insane. I've never seen wifi so fast. CONS: But I was disappointed in a safety issue, which was that the grab bar in the tub completely came loose in my partner's hand and he fell (though not too hard) and OMG geez, someone could have really hurt themselves with that! (room 114) Had a very unappreciated 5 am wake-up by moving dumpsters around right outside out window. BANG BANG BANG Breakfast was included and was all right in so much that hot foods included scrambled eggs and sausage as well as bread products and other things, but it was not being attended. No one refilling food, cleaning up. They were also in the middle of renovations while we were there, so you had to watch for paint cans and tools and stuff laying around. For a weeknight at the end of August 2025, the price was about $120 USD before taxes

PK was great to work with at check-in. They are finishing up renovation project but everything was very clean and the beds very comfortable!

We had a great experience here! We were on a road trip and the kids really wanted to swim after the last two hotels had closed their pools for repair. After getting their suits on and heading down, we discovered this pool was also down for regular maintenance. However, they were gracious enough to pause and provide my kids with an hour of swim time!! So thankful for the little things that are big to the little humans. PK, at the front desk, was also well attentive. He assisted us in mailing stuff back home. Very friendly!! Would stay here again.

Good Clean establishment. Was bumped up to a Kind Suite, cause they were out of just King rooms, so that was cool, with no extra charge. Not much of view out the window, but I was there only to sleep anyway. Disappointed in the breakfast. Breakfast was from 6-9, I got there about 8:30, and there was only about a scoop of scrambled eggs left, and few breakfast potatoes, everything else was gone. So, I grabbed an apple and a cup of coffee. Front desk personnel were really friendly checking in and out. Location is easy to get to, and overall the place was clean and comfortable.

The staff are super friendly especially my friend PK! The breakfast was delicious. There is a pool. If you have to be in Jamestown and stay overnight these folks will take care of you.

Kind staff ie PK, very accommodating! Nice pool, well maintained property with better than average breakfast I’ll be staying here next time.
